PUGLIA AND PROGRESS: work on Miss Progress International 2020 begins

  • The eighth edition of the event that brings the Ambassadors of Progress from the five continents in the “heel of Italy” has been officially announced by Giusy Nobile and Giuseppe Borrillo.

CAROSINO (TA) – The next edition of Miss Progress International-Women for Progress, the only event in the world that makes women of all ethnic groups, religious beliefs and social backgrounds protagonists thanks to their commitment in favor of the Environment, Health and Human Rights, will take place from 2 to 11 October, 2020 in Puglia, the wonderful southern region in Italy.

Giusy Nobile, president of the In Progress cultural association of Carosino, and Giuseppe Borrillo, director of the competition that reaches its eighth edition, announced with a sixty-second teaser the beginning of works for the organization of their original format (video : https://youtu.be/5muhP3jp6hs).

“We have just completed the first phase – says Giusy Nobile – by sending to all of our contacts abroad the information needed to start working and choosing the right candidate to represent their country”.

Meanwhile Vanesa Giraldo Lopez, the Colombian who won the 2019 edition, has already started working with her Fundacion Almagua on her project dedicated to the reforestation of the Colombian Amazon. 

“This year we have abundantly exceeded our goal of views and interactions on social networks – adds Giuseppe Borrillo – and for 2020 we are aiming for a further increase, to the advantage of the places we will visit and of the companies that will support us and will get a great visibility in Italy and abroad”.
